KitKat is a mare we picked up at the Hermanson Kist sale in the fall of 2024 because she was in foal to Plain Catty whose earnings are LTE $196,245 in the reined cow horse arena. Our hope was to foal a stallion prospect; what we got was a solid black colt. Time will tell whether he makes stallion material!

Plain Catty burst onto the scene in 2017 when he captured the prestigious NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Championship. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, earning a composite score of 657.5, which included an impressive 225 down the fence. This victory brought home a $125,000 purse and firmly established Plain Catty as a winner in the reined cow horse arena.

His success didn't stop there. In 2019, Plain Catty continued to demonstrate his versatility and skill by winning the NRCHA National Hackamore Open Championship. Throughout his career, he made the finals at every major event in which he competed, amassing lifetime earnings of $196,245, all in Open competition.
