In 2018, after we had become exhausted looking for a blue roan stallion prospect,  we decided to try to "make one" instead! We took two mares to Cat Smart Boonsmal in Iowa. It worked out pretty well; we raised CA Indigo Cat and this pretty black mare. Kitty is a super sweet - in your pocket - mare. As a yearling she placed 9th in a conformation class of 50 or so; then she was broke to ride and competed as a two year old at the Iowa Ranch Horse Futurity. She is quiet enough to put anyone on and they'll get along. She did a great job passing along that temperament with her first foal by Sweet San Dually!
