Young Stock for Sale
We keep getting requests for prospects older than foals so we are trying to provide some of those too. Sometimes they're our breeding and sometimes we've picked them up from reputable programs.

Briggs is a filly we kept as a replacement for our older mare, Duchess (Dudes Roan Queen.) Since we've decided to cut back in the numbers department, she's for sale. She had 30 days of riding in summer 2025 with Sam Bell who said she is a lot of horse but will be a rock star when she's finished. Not for beginners or youth at this time, but if you're looking for an athlete where the hard part is already done, she could be the one. She will be eligible for the Dakota 50/50 Maturity in 2026 and beyond. Picture taken as a yearling; current one to come.

Sweet Pea is just that -- very sweet to be around. We picked her up last fall as a potential mount for our daughter-in-law but she decided on a different route. We feel she is good enough for our broodmare band (and we're very fussy!) but we are already at capacity for what we can handle comfortably so she is for sale.

TC Blue Spark (aka Neva) is a gorgeous blue roan filly that we purchased to add to our broodmare band before we decided to downsize. She will have size and substance and has a fantastic "using horse" pedigree, including The Shine, an own son of Shining Spark. The Shine had Superiors in both Reining and Working Cow Horse. Our favorite trainer commented about Black Neva that she was one of the quickest mares he'd ever been on; this granddaughter should have some mad skills! She's quiet and easy to handle and will have some groundwork done that should make her easy to start in the spring.

Nunda is truly a miracle baby. The day she was born, she came in dragging the entire placenta from her umbilicus. Had anything stepped on it, she would have bled to death. At a couple days old she injured an eye and we thought she was going to lose it; fast forward to today and she has a little white spot in it. At a couple weeks old she must have gotten kicked by a mare and likely broke her pelvis or some other bone in her hip area. She developed a hematoma the size of a basketball, nearly quit eating and almost starved until we lanced it (vets had told us not to) and it finally began draining. We spent a small fortune getting her healed as much as we could. Fast forward to today and she gets around OK but we're not certain she'll be able to carry a foal. She definitely won't be rideable. But she's sweet and very pretty. She will be deeply discounted price-wise. But she would make a lovely companion horse for someone who just wants to love on them or a docile companion for a horse who'd do better with a friend.

Tana is an absolutely gorgeous yearling filly; the kind that will enhance any breeding program. If we weren't trying to slim down our numbers, she wouldn't be for sale. She is kind and quiet and has enough ground work to almost be ready for a pony saddle. You will drive a lot of miles to find one as beautifully balanced as she is. She'll mature to 15.1 at least if not bigger.

Bergen was born with a slightly crooked front leg. We splinted it and corrected it near perfectly except for the white hair that came in where the splint rubbed his leg. He has never taken a lame step. He is out of a favorite mare and by Skye whose offspring are excelling in versatility events. Bergen has had some ground work and learns very quickly.
