Upcoming Young Stock

CA Hawkeye, (officially re-named from CA Nash), coming 5 year old buttermilk buckskin gelding, money earner in the inaugural Ranch Horse Extravaganza and Futurity in Mason City Iowa. Hawkeye participated in a cattle clinic the end of October 2022, in a Ken McNabb clinic and a TopHand Cowgirl Challenge in October 2023 and a Dawnn Taylor ranch riding clinic in September 2024. He shows natural curiosity and talent. This guy has an exciting future as super fancy gelding!

CA Diesel, 2021 smokey black gelding--what high hopes we have for this guy! He is going to be big and beautiful! He has a super quiet disposition and handled the crazy futurity environment SO well! After just three weeks of riding, our trainer said he's the nicest colt we've brought him, which is high praise. Currently in training at Heart and Hooves Horsemanship, Deer River, MN.

Rusk is the colt we kept for our new "gelding project initiative." However, he might be turning out fancy enough to replace RC as a foundation stallion around here. He has a gorgeous head, a powerful hip, an in-your-pocket disposition and already stands 14 hands! He was headed to the futurity in Mason City over Labor Day but got sick the week beforehand. Thankfully just a cold that he popped out of, but we were bummed because he was ready! Started this past spring, he was super easy to start and has the disposition to be a wonderful stallion; looking forward to getting some more miles under his belt.

This gorgeous filly by CA Skye Blue and out of Dudes Roan Queen (aka Duchess) will be going to training in the spring with Jason Anderson; can't wait to get her under saddle and see what she's capable of!
Her full brother is currently in training with Michelle Jerry at Heart and Hooves Horsemanship in Deer River, MN.

To "keep up" in the horse industry, one must ALWAYS be looking to improve and to have something "in the wings" in case of necessity. We looked and looked and looked some more to find the conformation, pedigree, disposition and yes, also color, that would add value to our program. Swagger crossed our radar when Brady was browsing and happened upon him. We REALLY liked what we saw; a grandson of Spooks Gotta Gun and out of a mare from the legendary Krogman program. Wow! We asked for sire and dam photos and liked those too! It took traveling to Arkansas (1880 miles!) but he's home and growing like a weed. Big, beautiful and very sweet; just like we want our stallions to be. Can't wait to see what he adds for us!
